Meet Ron Vanscoy
Hello, I'm Ron Vanscoy. Born in West Virginia and living in Georgia for over 40 years, I've spent most of my life moving across highways, through cities, and behind the scenes of live music events. I'm a proud father of two and a grandfather of six, and after nearly four decades on the road, I've traded logbooks for photographs.
Forty Years, Countless Miles
For 40 years, I worked as an over-the-road truck driver, covering 48 states and Canada. It was one of those jobs you hate loving, but it gave me something invaluable: perspective. Those miles became my classroom, my inspiration, and eventually, my creative lens.
Photographs That Found Me First
I'm an amateur photographer by title, but storytelling has always come naturally. Most of my images are captured on a cell phone-sometimes from a scenic overlook, sometimes while rolling down the highway at 70 miles an hour. From backstage corners to vacation destinations across our beautiful country, each photo reflects a moment that felt worth saving.
